kosd - on screen notifications for KDE

If you don't like default KDEs notification for volume and brightness adjusting, try kosd.

KOSD provides configurable notifications for KDE offering you to set volume step, keyboard shortcuts or the notification placement on the screen.
Entering setup with command kosd --configure opens setup window where you can change all settings.

kosd --configure
kosd --configure

Command kosd --help shows all option for program usage and setup.
KOSD can handle notifications for volume or brightness change and display the actual battery state.

    1. Yes I'm pretty sure it exists. You just need to install it from your distribution repositories or download and build it from this page http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/KOSD?content=81457
